It seems we have drifted apart
no more the love that we knew
I am sad in the heart
cause I miss me and you
Valentine cards are arriving
to my friends near and far
but I can only think today
my darling where you are
If you decide to send a card on this day
do not write token promises that will just fade away
come back here to me my darling
let's make our love like new,
if not then let me tell you baby
what this will do
it will make this Valentines day blue
I will go on, but no one could ever come near
as the most beautiful lady, with a love once so sincere
Good luck my darling
may you find a love as true
but as for me just paint my Valentine Blue.
