Your disingenuous ways,
leave me stuporous.
You must think I'm naïve,
to believe your petty explanation.
I know I am worthy of more,
I can recover and regain strength.
This is only a bump in the road,
a minor jolt to the senses.
Give me a minute....
yeah, I'm over it.
