A Comfort Sent to You

I weep for you dear friend of mine, the days are bitter cold
Reflecting on a promise, together growing old
Alone now in your grief, it seems, so distant from us all
Your heavy heart has no relief, as you begin to fall
A joyful life is tainted by the unforgiving pain.....

The beauty held in memory, a feeling to remain
A blossom's burst of young love, dependable as rain
Now pedals of a wildflower, scattered by the wind
Yet whisked away in mourning, a heart you can't rescind
The sadness blurs the morning light.....

So look upon the milky way, rest your eyes at night
As darkness sinks the earth, the stars are shining bright
A lifetime of wonders, not ready to let go
The music of the universe, in tune with Heaven's glow
A comfort sent to you, from above.....

A whisper carried lightly on the wings of a dove
Live the best you can, the spirit of a prince, awaits his ladylove
The chapters in this story, have only just begun
A journey so spectacular, it dims the setting sun
All of Heavens Angels will begin to sing.....

Live life, the best you can, I know you'll be alright.
